We have a long history with the Sydney Design Awards and our projects have been winners and finalists in their categories every year since our very first entry back in 2013! So this year we are thrilled have 3 projects shortlisted – Enero and PetSure in the Corporate Commercial category and Sushi Canteen in the Retail category.
This is a competition that allows you to cast a vote as well, so if you could take a moment to rate our projects (5 stars of course) we would really appreciate it. Click on the project links above and then simply click on the blue ‘rate this entry now button‘ at the top of the page. Winners will be announced on the 10th of August, 2017… we’ll keep you posted!
We’re looking for a mid-weight designer with a minimum 5 years experience in Retail, Workplace & Hospitality to join our team. Strong conceptual & documentation skills are essential, along with a great sense of humour.
Email your application to: email@example.com
Our PetSure project has set both human and canine tongues wagging around the globe, so we’re honoured to have it shortlisted in the IndeawardsWorkspace category. The projects chosen are from across the Asia Pacific and PetSure is just one of eight that has made the list. Winners will be announced 30th June… so fingers (and paws) crossed!
Colour is key to many of our workspaces, so we’re thrilled to have not one but two of our recent projects listed as finalists in the Commercial Interior category of the Dulux Colour Awards – CATI Centre and Enero. Check out the entries here and wish us luck! Winners will be anounced May 10th…
We did it! Not only did we raise over $20,000, we danced our hearts out AND won the award for best costume! Here we are on stage in all our Katy Perry glory…
Dance For Life was a spectacular success raising an incredible $154,097 overall towards the vital work of ReachOut. We are so grateful to all of you who donated goods and money and support to help us go way above and beyond our financial goal.
The Best Costume Award was the icing on the cake! Each costume was handmade by a member of our team (you can see our inspiration below) so we were oh so thrilled with the accolade. Of course special thanks must also go to Spotlight for the spandex, Lincraft for the sequins and glue guns and Bunnings for the expanda foam…
Mexican Publication C + T has just included our Airbnb Sydney project in a feature on Airbnb headquarters around the world. The company fosters a culture of creativity, culture and thoughtful design in all their workplaces, so it’s safe to say it’s in good company. You can flick through the magazine and article here.
We love to dance (almost as much as design) and as you may know, we’ve been busy preparing for the fierce competition that is Dance for Life 2017. It takes place on March 17th, when we will be dancing off against 9 other of Sydney’s top tier interior design firms. We’re confident (of course!) with spray tans and jazz hands at the ready. But perhaps the best bit is that all the proceeds go towards ReachOut, a vital online mental health service that aims to reduce suicide rates among the under 25 age group. We’re still fundraising, so if you would like to donate you can do so here.
Thank you for supporting us and a most excellent cause. Oh and we promise to put on a good show… we’ll report back after the event (with proof!).
The latest Indesign Magazine (#68) has just hit the shelves and we’re thrilled our PetSure project is featured as a progressive project forging the way in the shifting paradigm of workplace design. The article explores the link between the workplace and well-being, playfully titled ‘Workplace Design Has Gone to The Dogs’. Grab yourself a copy!
Our PetSure project is featured in the current issue of China’s Modern Decoration Magazine. We’re thrilled it’s making such an impression… pampered pets could just be the next big thing in workplace design throughout the Asia Pacific!
We had a great time celebrating our 5th birthday last week at The Flinders Hotel. The dress code was BOLD (of course!) and our guests enjoyed drinks, canapés AND an interpretive dance of The Bold Collective’s story. Here are some highlights from the … Continue reading →
